Description

This rug is born through the fusion of traditional manufacturing techniques and the exploration for innovative design, creating a union of an age old product juxtaposed against a fresh and individual appearance.
The unique appearance of this piece is achieved by inserting multiple woolen strands, using a hand looming technique, which project from the base of the fabric, giving the rug a curious quality and offering a fresh and novel air to an ancient technique. The amalgamation of modernity and tradition live together in a single creation.
Cuks for the floor or in the new bed size (80x140) is handmade from 100% New Zealand hand loomed wool with pile height 80mm. Available in red, grey and ivory.
