- Reducing the impacts associated with the production of materials, such as the embodied energy of materials, their source (renewable or non-renewable) and the impacts of extraction and harvesting.
- Minimising emissions of volatile organic compounds to improve indoor air quality.
- Minimising waste at the time of production and at end of life (refer to our factories waste minimisation report).
- Ensuring site staff minimise noise, prevent fumes and smoke, and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.
- Continually improving our practices where possible.
