Ton Haas

Dutch designer, Ton Haas is well known throughout the furniture industry for his work with an impressive list of leading international manufacturers. His career began at the School of Fine Arts in Arnhem, before completing his degree in England at Kingston Polytechnic in 1979.

Back in his homeland he gained a postgraduate diploma leading on to membership of a number of design partnerships and eventually his own practice in 1993.

Between 1994-1998 he did a Masters course at Rotterdams School of Architecture and has over the years lectured widely including visiting professorships; been appointed to numerous design bodies and judging juries; won awards and had his work displayed in museum collections.
