In 2007 Zenith began a carefully staged process to assume leadership in the commercial furniture market through a combination of people, products and performance.
Building on its heritage as one of Australia’s largest workstation manufacturers, Zenith is now able to call on more than 150 staff, showrooms in every mainland state and territory, two factories and a network of local and international suppliers and designers.
Zenith’s national strategy received another boost in March with the opening of a new 850 square meter Melbourne showroom created by Hassell over three levels in Flinders lane in what was once was a glass bead factory. Beads are still evident in some of the century old timbers preserved in the design.
This follows the opening of a new Sydney showroom and two international design leaders: New Zealand’s Formway and the UK’s Allermuir, choosing Zenith as their distributor and local manufacturer. The Allermuir partnership has also brought Senator, the UK’s largest commercial furniture manufacturer, to Zenith.
The Collection of products continues to grow and evolve through collaborations with designers Keith Melbourne, Matthew Sheargold and Babak Aryaie as well as Zenith’s own design team.
Zenith now offers a diverse range of products for office environments including solutions for workstations, café, breakout areas, reception, healthcare, education, public and outdoor spaces. Workstation and loose furniture products are AFRDI approved and supported by Green Star or equivalent accreditation.
A national project team has been created for organizations requiring a national service solution for their property holdings; offering cost efficiencies and a dedicated account service and procurement process for fit-outs in every region in the country.
Zenith’s ‘quick ship program’ stocks significant volumes of their most sought after products offering a local assembly and upholstery process reducing lead times to one to six weeks.
